Baldwin “Hamilton” 5’ 1″ Baby Grand Piano

This 5′ 1″ Baby grand comes to us from Baldwin.  The “Hamilton” name comes from Dwight Hamilton Baldwin, founder of the Baldwin Piano Company, and it became one of Baldwin’s major sub-brands over the 20th century. The best-known model is the Baldwin B243 Hamilton upright, first introduced in 1939 and used heavily in schools, churches, and studios because of its rugged construction, stable tuning, and warm American tone. It became one of the best-selling institutional uprights ever made.  This one is a later model, the H-391.  This Hamilton H-391, at 5′ 1″ is best seen as a petite baby-grand piano for home or small-space use — ideal if you appreciate the aesthetic and feel of a grand, but don’t have room (or budget) for a full-size concert instrument. If in good condition, it offers a lighter, more manageable grand-piano experience while still delivering a decent grand-like tone, making it well-suited for students, casual players, or home recitals.  It is in like new condition and comes with a free player unit along with a matching bench.  A 6 year guarantee on parts and labor on the piano itself completes the package.
